CDM365 Studios started from a simple idea, that creating every day leads to a happier life.

Hi! I am Siobhan, and as somone who has been sewing since the age of five, I have personal experience with the wonderful value that everyday creativity can bring to your life. Having struggled for years to find the right job (still working on it), a balance between work and personal life, and so much more, I always came back to quilting. Drawn in by the beautiful fabric (and yes, it is perfectly acceptable to buy fabric just because it makes you happy), and the wonderful rythmic structure of stitching, a quilt is very fulfilling.

I want to share the joy I find in making quilts with everyone else. Here you will find great ideas about how to use color, fun and easy sewing projects, my personal quilt designs, and more. The quilt patterns I design are broken down so that you can work on them a little bit at a time and still stay organized. Most of the patterns use simple, traditional blocks to create vibrant modern designs that can be interpreted many different ways.

I also know that quilting isn’t the right hobby for every one (you need to find what fits you) but I still want to be able to make my designs and patterns available to everyone who enjoys them. I have started branching out into surface design work. It is still my signature modern style - that’s not changing - but you will be able to find my design ideas in other creative ways; think one of my quilts on the cover of a journal, or a fabulous cheater print that you could make into a bag. This is still a new area for me, so stay tuned for more updates.
